PRINCIPAL architect
Tom Reynolds joined Design Cooperative, LLC in 2011. With 40 years of experience, Tom has been responsible for the design of a number of award winning projects, including: Duncan U. Fletcher Middle School renovations, University of North Florida Student Housing, the Pasco County Courthouse restoration, WJCT-TV television studio, the Nancy Reagan TPC Village, the PGA TOUR Media Center, and the TPC in Myrtle Beach, SC, Virginia Beach, VA, and in Moline, IL. Tom was a senior principle of Rink Design Partnership, Inc., from 1985 to 2009.
Tom received a bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Florida in 1971. Since then he has participated in continuing education classes in a variety of specialty areas at Harvard University.
Tom is a registered architect in Florida and North Carolina. In 2008 he became a LEED Accredited Professional. In 2004 Tom was honored with the AIA Jacksonville Chapter John W. Dyal Memorial Award in recognition of his leadership and service to the profession and community.
Tom has served on the Board of Directors and as president and vice president of the San Marco Preservation Society. In 2003 he received the distinguished Architecture Alumnus Award from the University of Florida and has been invited to guest lecture at the university regarding professional practice topics. He has also served on the Architecture Director Search Committee and the Professional Liaison Committee for the University of Florida. Tom served on the Arts Assembly Committee for the Florida Theater and as chair of the Beaux Arts Ball, Jazz for a Dream, and the Historic San Marco Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes. Tom served on the Board of Directors for Deliver the Dream and on the University of North Florida Deans’ Leadership Committee where he was recently named the Thomas G. Carpenter Library’s National Philanthropy Day Honoree.
